Cancer Researcher Sigounas Named HRSA Administrator

May 1, 2017—George Sigounas, a Ph.D. professor and cancer researcher at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine, is the new Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration. He assumed the post, which does not require Senate confirmation, today, according to a HRSA spokesperson.
