HRSA Publishes 340B Orphan Drug Exclusion Interpretative Rule

July 21, 2014—The Health Resources and Services Administration published an “interpretive” rule this morning on the statutory exclusion on 340B pricing on orphan drugs for critical access hospitals, sole community hospitals, rural referral centers, and free-standing cancer hospitals.
