September 20, 2016—Yesterday we wrote about how The New York Times and the Center for Public Integrity exposed how drug companies co-opt patient-advocacy and civic groups[1] with big donations. Some disease-awareness and civic groups, we noted, parrot negative pharmaceutical industry talking points about the 340B drug discount program[2].
