New 340B Rule Lets Feds Fine Drugmakers for Overcharges

January 4, 2017—The Department of Health and Human Services published a 340B program final rule today implementing fines for drug manufacturers that knowingly and intentionally overcharge safety-net healthcare providers. The rule also sets standards for calculating 340B ceiling prices.
