Senate Appropriators Vote to Fund 340B Program at $10.2 Million for FY 2018

September 7, 2017—The Senate Appropriations Committee approved legislation today that includes $10.2 million to run the 340B drug discount program in the new fiscal year that begins Oct. 1. In the report accompanying the bill, the committee urges the Office of Pharmacy Affairs, the Health Resources and Services Administration unit that administers the 340B program, to complete work on secure website to make 340B ceiling prices available to 340B healthcare providers.
