November 3, 2016—The Obamacare-driven decline in the share of Americans lacking health insurance might have stalled at about 9 percent, with about one out of every four poor and near-poor adults under age 65 still lacking coverage, new data from the National Center for Health Statistics show. Meanwhile, nearly 40 percent of insured working-age adults are now enrolled in a high-deductible health plan, up nearly 15 percent from just six years ago.
